1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Account information: Email address and display name when you create an account
  • Usage data: Word counts, request counts, and feature usage for billing and limits
  • Analytics data: Page views and feature interactions via PostHog
  • Payment information: Processed by Polar; we do not store credit card details

2. Text Processing

Text submitted for AI detection scoring is processed server-side and not stored after processing. Text submitted for humanization is processed via the Claude API and not retained after the response is returned, unless you have history enabled (paid tiers only).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Track usage against subscription limits
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, billing, usage alerts)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Anthropic: Text submitted for humanization is sent to the Claude API
  • Firebase/Google: Authentication and database hosting
  • Polar: Payment processing
  • Resend: Email delivery
  • Analytics provider: Product analytics (if enabled)
  • Vercel: Application hosting

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@humanprose.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, and HMAC-verified webhooks. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@humanprose.com for any data-related requests.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management). We may use analytics tools which set cookies. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
